Cats & Mice
So I noticed that my right rear turn signal was not working on my Tiger, simple enough I’ll just replace the bulb thought I, when I got the bulb out it looked fine, I tested it with a meter, yep it’s good.
Next I checked the socket, nothing, damn I hate wiring problems. Off came the seat and it was then that I saw some grass clippings protruding from under the rear cowling, I poked my finger beneath the cowling and thought “man, what the…? It felt like it was full of grass under there. Off came the cowling… I think I found the source of the problem. ![]() . Three handfuls later I found this. ![]() A couple of cuts and a splice and I’m back in business. I hate mieces to pieces.

Mice got into my Vstrom this spring. After the last snow had melted and there was plenty of places for them to live they decided under my seat was the best place. Ate the side out of my tool roll and half my insurance and registration. I decided to be the gracious host and spread nice blocks of (posion) food around the garage.

My Dad was wondering why his 1978 XS eleven was only getting 30 some MPG. We pulled the air filter and it had a mouse camp in it. Me thinks a barn isn't the best place to store motor vehicles...

I spread out the poison food too, and the mice took it with them to their new home in the airbox. Maybe they have immunity?
Traps, lots of traps. after about 10 died, it slowed down. Now I use moth balls, traps, poison, still catch them in the traps, just not as much Hate them Rod |

Two years ago people started developing some land that it was near our home. The feild mice started migrating and infested our home. I used three traps in the garage and killed 17 of them in an hour. I am not even kidding. They traps were just claping. That is when we decided to get an outside cat. I am a dog person and I have a boxer and a rottweiler. I did not want a cat, but that thing did help. No mor Mice in our house. Good luck with your problem. I am glad they did not eat up something more expencive or harder to find.
