Question Nice place to take the wife overnight - VA/WV

Spacewife wants to go for an overnight ride this weekend, but the destination is booked solid. Anybody have a recommendation of a nice B&B, Inn or Hotel in Western VA / WV? Looking at maybe Berkeley. Ideas

Looking for a good destination (town to visit) or a good place to spend the night (hotel/B&B)?

Both, but heavy on the good place to spend the night with walking distance to food We can hit the good roads coming and going.

Have you ever tried Hawks Nest State Park?

www.hawksnestsp.com

nice area to ride, loding and restaurant on site.

Just a thought.

Lexington, VA is a nice area - lots of hotels, nice little historic downtown.

The hillbrook inn it’s in Charleston WV. It is very nice you also should have dinner there its pricy but she will not forget it. They have rooms that match the seasons, Jacuzzis, fireplaces I stayed in one of those.here

We used to go to the Highland Inn often, but have heard that the young couple that ran it sold it and it no longer a great place to stay. I will give them a call and see if I get a warm fuzzy or not.

Sold to the American - haven't been there in a couple years, talked to one of the new folks and we going to give it a shot

Ride out to the Highland Inn (violating MM's not so secret road), have dinner, kill some brain cells and then ride back - how can you go wrong
