if my neighbor's headlights looked like that I'd prolly give up riding m/c's and try a different style of riding, plus I would be blinded, would not want to focus on the fairing, I digress.
Wes, NICE JOB ON THE Garage and design on the support for the BRP. I'm not a fan of fairings, I ride too much off-road alot of single track and road. "guilloutine effect" come to mind! To each his own. If I road to Alaska on my BRP I'd have a fairing without a doubt. I'll keep watching for more photo's from the neighbor!

Is that pic at night with the bicycle headlight for real? That's just amazing!
More info on htat product please.
Thanks

Hey guys,

For more details on the light you'll have to check out the thread I linked to above. Those MTB guys have some pretty strict camera settings so yes, that is a real photo!

Some of my parts have arrived so I'll be working on it over xmas.

As far as the fairing goes, I'm going to use a 990 windshield. Hopefully my neck can take it ;-)

Wes

Night picture

Look at the pic info and you will see that the exposure is for 6 seconds. That would make Nancy Pelosi look bright.

A trophy truck lights in baja wouldn't make her look bright!!!!!

Maybe it would enhance the deer in the headlights look though:)

There are some comparison shots on MTBR.com and the 1400 lumen LED's make a single 35W HID look like a candle. It's my understanding that most of the helmet headlights used in Baja are LED.

"all pics taken at "standard MTBR settings" of ISO-100, F4, 6 Seconds"

Wonder how they came up with those numbers?

It was quite useful for the lower output lights. They're now working on a new standard for high output lights like these that saturate the camera

Let me start by apologizing. I did some more work on the fairing but was again unhappy with it so I went back to the drawing board on how to shape the Aluminum. I'm new too forming sheet material.

Anyway, the opology isnt for that, its for selling the bike.... I've picked up a 950 Adventure so this project is officially dead. I hate doing this cuz I know how much i hate following a thread that dies before completion.

Sorry guys....

Will you forgive me?

Yup, thats a friend's G. Funky bike, gas it in first and you feel like you're gonna get bucked off but smooth as silk to ride.

Well, my 950 deal fell through so I am keeping the BRP.

Fairing work is back on!

Updates soon.
