My 1st Ride Report

I have been wanting to do ALL of the BPW for a very very Long time.So the stars & planets alligned,and Got the OK from the wife,so me and My Little BIG brother decided to tag along for the first part of the trip,which was The AMA races in Atlanta in Sept.Here we are getting ready to head off.

This was a Members Hack.

My Brother heading back to Florida,he had ta go back to work

Saw a World Champion

Also saw Jeff Arron doing some stunts,here he was getting ready to jump some of the Red Bull Rookies

After leaving the track,i was gonna take my time and Smell the roses so to speak,so i stopped and did a little bit of hiking at this trail

Coming onto Cherokee i thought i saw a Tank..By George it is a Tank

To Me,this was the highlite of Cherokee,All these Painted Bears done by
Local Artists.Absoloutely Beautiful atrwork

Heading out of Cherokee I saw this Neet old RR bridge

Then i stop to take a picture of the river

And see this from the otherside of said bridge

A closer Look.Looks like the road building crew used some local Wrecked cars for fill.I'd say late 50's early 60's ..pretty Cool

My 1st nite camping was @ Linville Falls Campground

Kept on hicking around and found this

Can you say dinner time

Than after dinner,took some time for some reading

Had a nice quite evening and got packed up early the next morning
and decided to do a little bit more hiking(Remember this is a trip where i am taking my time & seeing some of the sites)

Great photos! I live a few minutes from the Linville Falls area and love hiking up there. Glad you were able to take time to stop and smell the roses as these old mountains are a friendly place to recharge your batteries.
