why is it that every time an IMO mentions their bike it's always with respect to some service or repair?

This morning my Italian bike wouldn't start. Again. This time, it made a screeching noise when it tried to crank. Good thing I have a Japanese bike and a Spanish bike too.

You need to store it away from the other bikes. My Ducatis are always pissed off if I park them too near my Japanese or Spanish bikes. Tempermental Italians!

How was the bike turnout at IMOC? I got diverted to other venue by majority vote.

It was down (IMHO). The word was between the Lars Anderson event, Unidilla, the Ammo DS/TR and Vespa being the show cased Marque a lot of people would be going elsewhere. It was still an impressive showing of fantastic bikes (and a Moto Guzzi car??) . The weather couldn't of been better either.

The turnout seemed thin this year esp. with Rice-o-Rama and Lars on the same day. Still one of the best/friendliest rallies in the N.E. and it's all for charity. It was worth the admission just to see the mint Capriolo . Next year I hope they spread out the dates of the shows equally, it's difficult to enjoy more than one in a day.

Everything was made by the owner, frame, body. 850-T3 motor, Chevet front end very cool.

It was a good day and weather was perfect. It may have been down a bit but thats a whole lot of Italian bikes in one place! And my Itailan machine ran flawlessly!

Great time and show, as always. Much better riding roads than to/from the Larz (which may have the worst) but the Larz is all European marques and attracts attractive urban spectators. Hopefully next year these events will be staggered as in the past. The possibility of wifey denying access to both is less likely if they are on separate days. Favorite IMOC class? Etceterini !

Damn straight! And that is no exaggeration.

The ride to Sturbridge is much more interesting indeed. Honestly, I had never gone to the Larz event before yesterday. It was cool, but I would not choose that over a rod and gun club visit again. Hmmm, commercial..vs...good guys with cool bikes in the country. The latter. I am sure that the LAM event definitely hurt attendance and bike count. What the hell is a Vespa? What marque is up next year?
