Going to Shamokin PA

Me and a few others, no more then 4 total, are gunna take a trip to the shamokin strip mines and are trying to find a place near by to pitch a tent...


Can anyone help me out

I don't know where to camp, but be sure to ride PA 125 south from Shamokin to Pine Grove.

There is a nice campground off 125 near there,, echo valley? something like that.. nice people,, and they have a small breakfast/lunch place that is good to grab a good breakfast before going out..

this place was awesome!

it suits every kind of rider out there and can be very big bike friendly.

there is everything from singletrack, to ATV trails, to nice wide dirt roads

conditions vary around every turn from rocks to mud to smooth cinders
and challenges like hillclimbs and decents and whoops
