Pulled the beast out of the garage today. Fired right up. Gotta love fuel injection. . 50 around Rangely. Major mud going on with this warm up but it was nice to run around for a while.

Got the DR and the WR out today. Started up and took a ride on the muddy county road. Now back in the shop it is snowing/rain with spats of thunder snow

I don't mean to step on any toes here, but in an effort to meet more local riders I created a Dual Sport / Adventure Riding Group on Facebook. If you're on FB and are interested, please join and share the group with your friends that may be interested.

The groups name is Western Colorado Adventure Riders... here's a link - https://www.facebook.com/groups/468246919944005/

That's great, thanks for doing that! I've been in GJ for five years and still haven't hooked up with you guys. It's my own fault for working too dang much... I'll be watching for opportunities to hook up and ride with you all soon.

I've heard it was drying up out there, some puddles here & there and that's about it. Haven't been, but the intel seemed solid.

When would you be heading out, John?

Being fairly new to the area, I have a non bike related question about GJ and thought you all would know better than anyone.
What is there to do in GJ? If I were to take a lady on a date there (hey! It could happen!!) where should we go? I mean, is there a comedy club? Or a theater? (Plays not movies) live music regularly? A trail along the river? The hot spots I guess is what I'm after.. Where would you Suggest?

I rode it day before yesterday. No dust, a few puddles around, tacky sandy dirt... All in all it was in great condition. Got to put the first miles on my new bike, which made it extra super fabulous awesome!

Rangely is drying out nicely!

The south facing adobe was just right, not dusty or muddy.

Part of Rangely rock crawling park.

Rode 60 miles of Kokopelli today from Rabbit Valley. Trail seemed in good shape and was super fun. I need to do more riding in the area.
