Yep

Give it a sharp tap with a hammer and see if it disengages.

Some BMWs and some cars have that problem. It seems when the voltage in the battery gets low the cranking current goes up (counter intuitive) and sticks the points in the starter relay/solenoid.

I am just starting the search for the restoration of my RD03. Imageworks in the UK can make a set of decals for the RD03, but it won't include the stripes (only the logos and such). You will need to paint the stripes yourself. I plan to have a set shipped over to me along with some other parts. PM me if you would like to have a set sent with mine. I could then ship it to you from California is you are in the states.

Do you have an RD03 or are you modifying a Transalp?

You are shure the chain isn`t a little bit too tautly ?
Or is there a spring-loaded chain adjuster installed ?

That stuff will sneak up on you every time.

Are you going to make the Wi rally this year? How many At in the stable now?

If you are lucky, you might still get it some day. I had one package showing up 11 weeks after mailing. It had evidence of being around the world incl. postal markings from Australia.

Fuel tap sticking when changing positions

Hello gents, has any of you had or seen this happening?

The fuel tap on my 96 AT has become harder to turn and I suspect this will only worsen over time... has any one ever rebuilt this fuel tap? are there any overhaul kits out there for this specific tap as there are for other taps? (tourmax are known for their rebuild kits but have no kit for the AT).

Has anyone ever disassembled the fuel tap on their AT? Thanks for any input.

Cheers :-)
