R90s fairing mount pic request

Can I get someone to describe or snap a picture of where the 2 mounting arms on a BMW stock r90s fairing mounts?
I just bought a freshly painted one with all the mounts and such for $250 and it arrived today. I'm going to slap it on my r90 but would like to see where the arms on the fairing attach first.

I have the original installation manual -- can copy. PM if you need it.

"BMW Einbauanleitung fur Cockpitverkleidung."

The flat chromed metal mounts (basically triangular shape, but with round ends) mount under the upper fork nuts. Recomended torque for re-attachment 87 ft/lb. There is a slot at the large end to clear the 8mm bolts in the upper triple. You will need to remove your steering damper knob and bars to gain access.

I tried to take a pic, but with all the surrounding stuff, it is unclear with the fairing mounted.

Thank you canuman, I got some pictures of the mounts. It seems the only thing I lack are these little $5 brackets that mount under the fork caps. I'm going ahead and ordering a fork seal rebuild kit, some stock caps (I have some weird brass ones with tubes connecting them and a quick fill nipple and pressure gauge) and new gators. So after that's all rebuild I'll throw the brackets on and have a very nicely rebuild front suspension and fairing
Oh does anyone have a spare tool for the stock fork caps (the two little button dots) removal?

They are pretty simple to make from a piece of flat bar stock and two steel dowels if you have a drill press and some decent bits. Measure the centers with a caliper or a set of dividers.

I went to Home Depot and bought a piece of tubing that goes behind your toilet going to the shutoff valve. I cut it to 3 inch lengths and smashed the ends , one side 90 degrees off from the other. Then I drilled a hole in them. Voila! Two chrome mounts! Saved a bunch of money over the NLA parts.

I already have the mounts and all, I'm just missing the little brackets that go under the fork caps ($5 each, no big deal).

Tips for wrestling an S fairing into place?

Found this thread looking for a pic on orientation of the under-cap brackets, but figured that part out.

Next question -- anyone have tips for getting the fairing (with grommets) onto the two opposed turn signal stalks? I'm afraid of flexing it open too far but pulling the fork ears off to reposition the stalks seems harder than it should be. I rand out of time and won't be able to get back to it for a day or two.

Between now and then, anyone have experience to share? To flex or not to flex?

reference pics

Found a halfway decent photo on the back of the Ian Faloon r90s book for future reference. Just need to make sure the edge of the bracket lines up with the top-plate of the triple tree and the arms angle inward. It's possible to install backwards.

Also a shot of the bike in all its naked glory, and another of the installation en progress. Old pitted fork legs make great "persuader" bars...

So, if you use the stock r90 or any non-fairing airhead turn signal stalks, they will be shorter than the r90s stalks. People say these don't work well with the fairing but I found that they were just short enough to flex the fairing on over them w/o dismantling anything. The turn signals will still mount and be sturdy, just don't tighten them too much or they'll pinch the end of the stalks.
If you have the r90s stalks...you may have to take apart a few things.

The stock rubber bits make it pretty easy with no stretching. It's been a while since doing one, so don't recall how to do it, but your knowing it's possible should make it easy for you to figure out the solution. Essentially, one side will go in farther than the tubing, giving enough space on the other side to slip it on. Try it without the grommets first to get the idea.

If you do it like Blaine (with the shorter nonS stalks) - remove the black plastic do-nuts from the turn signals. The signals will then mount normally.
