Thanks for the cool photos. Its great to see guys riding the old YamahaRT-1s, DT360s etc. Way back I had two DT-250s. Yamaha used to "color code" these bikes. My 1968 DT-1 was white. My 1973 DT-250 was red.My buddy's RT-360 (1974??) was green. My buddy, Paul, rode that green one on a road trip from the Seattle area, up to Neah Bay, Wa, then down the Wa. and Or. coasts with full camping gear. At the time I was riding my 1975 Honda XL350.Glen was on his old Honda CB350 twin, and Jim on his 1975 Honda CB750K. That old two stroke did pretty well. Of course Paul had to carry oil for the oil injection system. Wish I still had that '68.

Vinnie Vinnie Vinnie Vinnie YOU SNAKE!

Seeing all those good looking OLD Yam-Hammers

Keep it up your going to make me pull that old 1976 XT 500 out and
blow the dust off of it. Might just do it anyway in spite of you all.

Boys have a safe trip this time and keep Vin from showing off and hurting himself again.

Seriously do have a great safe ride . I will be here on the side line cheering you all on.

Fingers Drumming on the desk once again . . .

I got two phone calls today. Both involved the words "Holy Crap! We leave in less than a week and I'm not ready!" DEET is making his lists and checking them twice. wondering what he is forgetting Mark is still working on a few spare parts for his DT360. I mailed off yet another priority mail package to the east coast in hopes it gets to North Carolina before I do.

I need to sort out my camera and video stuff; get the new mini-laptop set up with website posting stuff and gps support files; get some clothes packed and some other loose ends; plus I have two weeks of work-work to get done in the next 3 days. Yet tonight I find myself tweaking things on the GruppeTAT Website. Still a few loose ends. I can't even go out and look at my bike 'cuz it is sitting at Vinnies!

The waiting is killing me.

Best wishes

Just wanting to get subscribed and wish you guys the best of luck.

This time of year is the best time to ride---nice and cool--no humidity and a less chance of rain.

Now---settle down and relax---have a great ride.

If your bike weighs more than 400lbs. You might not make it.
