I purchased the tank guards you have as seen in the pic below. Did you do anything different to attach them besides the double sided tape they give you with them? It just doesn't seem like it is enough to really secure them. Great shot by the way!

If you are worried, you could try the little round hook & loop fasteners like the ones that come with the Laminar Lip. Those things hold like crazy!

Suniniest day of the year, yesterday. Hooned around for 180 miles until the reserve light pinged on. I now have 3k on the GS, not bad considering it snowed from December to March. Taking her on a 3000 mile eurotour from May 2nd to May 13th, then an Iron Butt saddle-sore 1000 in June.

It's what these things are for, right?
