I stripped them down,

Painted the Hubs, and Powder Coated the Rims,

And re-assembled it myself, it's not that difficult, as long as the rims are not bent.

Hit the road again Saturday, Orlando, FL back to Cincinnati, OH. Great bike, loving it.

2001 Gs

Here's mine. Bought her in July of 2008 from Peter Bombar in North Carolina. Had 53,500 when then now has 78,500 almost 2 years later. Took her to Texas (from East Tennessee) last summer and gearing up for another trip to Texas soon. Been an amazing bike and experience, love it!

Thanks

Thanks and yup, they are mounted on GMTMoto brackets which you can still buy knock-offs from inmates in GSpot>Oilhead Boxers

http://advrider.com/forums/showthrea...hlight=GMTMoto

The switch is mounted inside the left handguard. I've got wiring on for Hellas and they are tapped to the highbeams and power on when those are switched on.

I used to have an GSA

And I used to take it all over the place, but this time I underestimated the weight of the bike compared to the steepness of the trail. I shouldn't have stopped where I did.

I tried to delete this... she won't go Captain!

Look for the 18" blue beacon. It will be easy to see as its about 15' over my camp.
