I finally get to post here:
My GS was finally delivered last Tuesday afternoon, by Tuesday evening it looked like: ![]() Packed and ready to go. Wednesday i left Ohio, headed south. Finally hit a good bit rain and bedded down in Gainsville, FL for the night. ![]() stats from day 1: ![]() Hit the road again Saturday, Orlando, FL back to Cincinnati, OH. Great bike, loving it.

2001 Gs
Here's mine. Bought her in July of 2008 from Peter Bombar in North Carolina. Had 53,500 when then now has 78,500 almost 2 years later. Took her to Texas (from East Tennessee) last summer and gearing up for another trip to Texas soon. Been an amazing bike and experience, love it!

Thanks and yup, they are mounted on GMTMoto brackets which you can still buy knock-offs from inmates in GSpot>Oilhead Boxers

And I used to take it all over the place, but this time I underestimated the weight of the bike compared to the steepness of the trail. I shouldn't have stopped where I did.
