03 GSA Adventure in Graphitan

O3 R1150 GSA Adventure with Russell seat. It used to be black and dented. I had the tank reworked and everything painted Graphitan.

That sounds great. Much better than my bike. This is a good idea I think.

My New Ride

Guys,

A small windfall came my way, and as I've been coveting the BMW GS's for years, was finally able to purchase one. Sure I wanted a bright new 1200GSA, but that's a lot of money to throw at a new bike, and thought a good used 1150 would be a better way to go. Found a low mileage (20k)R1150GS that looked pretty clean, and after a short test ride, jumped on it.

This is my first BMW, and my first multi-cylinder bike. Did my maiden voyage last night, and think this is going to be a good relationship.

Congrats on the GS. I have a recently new to me '02, wanting a WR250R and thinking now of selling the KLR. I see you have the same couple of bikes so let us know the future of the KLR. Will the GS replace it?

me thinks yes...........................

That looks pretty clean. I'm thinking that you could afford to buy some spark plug covers with the money you get by selling the charcoal canister.
