Kaoko. Fiberglass. Made in South Africa. Holds around 10 gallons and costs about 8 million dollars or so.
Looks pretty sweet. High price of admission makes membership pretty exclusive.

- GiVi reflector upgrade,
- Hella FF 50 driving lights on a TerraNova light bar (not shown),
- AutoSwitch and Blue Sea Systems 5025 fuse block,
- OEM battery boosting lug,
- custom RAM ball,
- camera mount using RAM and Manfrotto components,
- Datel LCD digital voltage gauge,
- YUASA battery analyzer/auxilliary SAE power outlet connector,
- cigarette lighter outlet for powering electronic devices,
- digital ambient air temperature gauge,
- BMW anti-tamper oil filler plug,
- owner fabricated black fiberglass oil radiator bug screen,
- 3M Paint Protection Film applied to frontal surfaces of gas tank and anodized forks,
- owner fabricated stainless steel front mud/stone guard.

My 2004 BMW R1150 GS Adventure taken on the Hahntennjoch in Austria...

Unfortunately, my 2004 R1150 GS Adventure was written off during my 2009 tour, thanks to an 18 year old with a 17 day old driver's licence who ran into the back of me while I was stopped in traffic. The idiot was on his cell phone on that all so important call. Cell phone users - get a life!

But my 2004 R1150 GS Adventure got replaced with something much nicer...an ultra mint, low mileage 1995 Porsche Carrera 2 (993) in Speed Yellow.

I would certainly never swap my R1150GSA beauty with that yellow cage (post-office car's color here )! I just take the money and fill in a 2nd garage we a few more bikes

Mud Slide on North Cascades Highway. 15 feet thick slide missed making it through by 1 hour, I would have gone for but the other side was 5 feet deep of semi-liquified mud.

Jealousy will get you nowhere, Nic!

Besides, even after my 2004 got written off by an inbred on a cell phone, I still have 3 GSes in the garage, plus a Krackmasaki.

That's it... I now officially lust after this color scheme. It rules. I might just have to acquire one of those tanks and beaks... or paint mine.

Yep, I had that exact feeling. Best combi is blue and white.
The crash Bar used to be complete but a minor offroadcrash resulted in crooked bars and we just never thought about removing the tank-crashbar as well. Here`s a picture of the bike with the lower crashbar installed ( we don`t know the make of the bars, the bike was imported from Germany with the bars installed):

I love this picture of a friend of mine, his old Williams and his new AnniversaryGSA
