G,
Those pictures are from last years March noob ride in DV. We planned to do 250 miles of dirt from Panamint to Saline to Steel Pass to Eureka Valley to Hunter Mountain Rd to Lippencott to Saline Valley then back to Panamint. I brought the extra gas for a buddy riding a 1200GS but when his non spoked rims got bent to shit on Steel Pass, we threw in an inner tube and rode back the way we came. I was a little worried that the GSA wouldn't make it all the way around seeing how mpg's goes down when your slogging away in first gear climbing a jeep trail in gravel and sand. If you're interested, we'll be in DV again this Jan and March... here's the links. http://www.advrider.com/forums/showt...524140&page=11 http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=506412 Quote:

Finally Succumbed
Guess I'm getting on or my arse was tired of being uncomfortable, so I sold the KTM
![]() And bought an 1150GS, picked it up last week ![]() ![]() ![]() First impressions are that I've made a good choice, very confidence inspiring at 5 celcius on wet roads, heated grips are good! Weather protection is a new experience for me and although not quite a supermoto the handling is superb, very quick to turn in and the engine, well that's kind of why I bought one. |

Looks like the bike is in mint condition and IMHO the best colour available

I was very fortunate to have excellent weather and the ride was pretty straight forward.
