these are cheap and would allow adjustment of the lower rebound screw

Yes...I've got one of those. The real question is whether I need to turn that thing back around the way it came. If it's OK the way it is, it makes me wonder why Husky faces it left when facing it right allows much easier access.

I looked carefully over the shop manual and there doesn't seem to be anything about the shock internals that is orientation-dependent.

Spent a few hours prepping the 630's with some new shoes that are more dirt oriented than the stock rubber.

Will be trying a Michelin Desert front and a friend will try a Michelin Enduro Competition MS. We both stuck on some Michelin Enduro Competition III's in the back.

Plan is to give them a 300 mile primary dirt ride this weekend in north central WI. I was also able to get my Seat Concepts seat installed which should provide a bit more comfort over the stock saddle.

TE with moto wheels...very nice; very nimble. Swapout to enduro wheels is a snap.

After I looked at this pic, I realized how horrible the Leo stickers look. They just peel right off those end caps.

Do the Leo slipons come with those carbon heat shields? That's my biggest problem right now with the bike, my daughter likes to ride pillion but the stock stainless shields get ridiculously hot. The Husky carbon ones are over $200, makes me think I should just drop a little more money and get the Leo slipons.

The shields come with them...but even better is the fact that there are no cat converters in the mufflers. They run far cooler anyway. That's why I got them...so they don't melt my throw-over camping bags.

One Year Wonder?

This may have been covered already so.... I was told today that Husky's 2012 line up doesn't include a 630... so is this bike a one year wonder in the US?

Sounds like a rare must have collectable to me...

That's what had me concerned about the fire sale type pricing.

Husaberg Foot Pegs Fit The 630, Nice And Wide

Hello all

Just wanted to share with the group. I had a set of foot pegs laying around off my 2010 FE570 and wondered if they would fit on the 630. The 630 foot pegs are just to narrow to stand on for very long.
Anyway all you got to do is gring them down a little bid as they are a touch too wide to fit in the bracket. They look great and are heck of allot wider than the stockers.
BTW Husaberg foot pegs are the same as all the late model KTM bikes

Huge improvement and work awesome
Thanks
Sethro

That is my hunch. Seems like the parent company would want to find more uses for a rather well-developed thumper motor of their own. TE650, with the Rotax motor...?

The 650 Rotax is a great motor but a bit heavier probably than the Husky motor.

Will be interesting to see what happens with this.

If that's the case, it's technically a 2-year wonder. I have had mine since June 17, 2010. However, the MSO and title say it's a 2011 model.
