I sent an email to Safari tanks in regard to this, The reply I got is as follows

Thank you for your enquiry, we are planning on doing a tank for the TE610 and 630 we have not started development yet so it is very hard give a time frame on when it will be ready. It is planned to be a 20 to 25 litre front tank, there is no plans for a rear tank at this stage. Feel free to contact in a couple of months and we should have a lot more information.

Note to self. When fueling up at Windorah do NOT say "I'll see you later", "I had better get a hop along" or "See you around". You will just look like a prick in front of the locals and feel like a dick.

Safari/Aqualine has been saying the same thing for quite some time now...I would love to have a larger tank for my 610 but I'll believe it when I see it...

I am betting $13000 they will have one by Dec this year Am I nervous? you bet I am

Apparently they started getting a tank ready for the Fi 610 but then it came out that the 630 was on it's way. So they gave up on the 610 tank until they had a 630 to work with so they could do one for the 630 and the 610.

I am banking on them having a tank by the start of DEC. it looks like I will be getting a 630 but with the standard tank its useless. I need a big tank for the longest day ride here in Australia. and just general rides call for a 300km range. with 12l the bike will spend all its time local

Aren't riders very impressed with the IMS tanks for the 610?

Are there problems with them?

Gudday mate,
The IMS product, while it works, is an awkward odd thing with what I considered to be very vulnerable fuel taps. In my experience Aqualine (Safari tanks) produce a top quality product. We shall wait and see! :-)

Correct...Those of us with the FI bikes have been left hanging with no alternatives but to carry MSR fuel canisters or something similar on long trips. The IMS tanks have also had some cracking issues from what I've read...

Here's mine, sitting at Hall's waiting to ship (I just got the pics a few minutes ago). As you can see, it has some goodies already installed:

Nope. Not standard. It's a stainless skidplate from Uptite Husky. There are also some OFG radiator braces and Cycra handguards installed. That'll be it for now until I get the bike in my hands. The next order of business will be getting rd of that ridiculous license plate bracket for something much more streamlined. Laww around here are pretty lax, too. So I may run without mirrors until I find something smaller. Maybe a modified bicycle barend mirror like I ha on my SV650.

You sure the skid plate is not aluminum?
