+1 If you got the bucks then it's a no brainer. You won't really 'get it' 'till you get it.

TE630 still not running
I bought the ibeat and have it all hooked up and FI/electrical seem to check OK. but:
What is the cranking rpm? the timing when cranking? pulse width? where can I find this info? maybe this is off Its very hard to start hot or cold. Mostly it just cranks and cranks and wont start, then by chance you give it 1 more try and it will fire right up. Run it 1 minute or two hours shut it off and wont start all over again. Could the auto compression thing cause this?? Would tight valves cause this? only has 400 miles. Dont these valves get loose with wear?

With only 400 miles I'd be suspicious of bad fuel being the culprit.
The bike has been sitting for quite some time it would seem.

The bike was most likely assembled in late 2010. That's a guess, but maybe you see where I'm going.
Fresh fuel in the tank is great, but is there a chance things are gummed up inside the pump or the injection? I'm always more reluctant to buy a no mile bike than one that has been used on a regular basis for reasons like you describe. Good luck!

You're getting the 2 second fuel prime on the key? If not a gummed fuel pump is the most likely culprit if it has been sitting for a long time and it is taking a bit longer than the 2 seconds to get the pump moving. A little carb cleaner will usually clear it (don't soak it), but if it is a persistent problem then it'd be a new pump.

I've got mine in the Flea Market if anyone's looking. Excellent bike, probably the best d/s I've owned - but now that I have the Stelvio I've been considering a lighter offroad bike.

Adds up quick. Scotts $550, FMF $540, Uptite skid plate $210, barkbusters $80. That's $1,380 so pretty close.
