Somehow you're correlating static compression ratio with cylinder pressure... it's not a KLR. These engines run happily on 95-98RON and 91RON is possible with correct fuelling and spark advance.

Found this bike for my buddy, 22hr run to NJ to pickup Sat. 1020 miles on bike/Leo exhaust. My group for Sept trip to CO/UT is up to four.

Man that's purdy! I still think I should look for one just like it to put in the garage for reserve.

Tell me more about your CO/UT trip. My plans are to be in CO and surrounds mid July to the end of August, maybe mid Sept.

Bars are a taller Renthal, I'll see what model tomorrow.



Last fall we did Silverton the third week in Sept and Moab the next week. I want to push it to the first two weeks this time for an edge on the weather in CO. Last year we left Silverton a day early because of snow and missed doing Black Bear Pass. We do have flexibility on the dates though, meeting up would be cool.


I've got my ear to the ground for another 630 for my Dad to ride.

Local group to do COBDR going north, weekend after labor day. I think it's big bikes though, riding up and back, they're telling me to bring the tiger xc.

Grand Canyon North Rim trip, 8 of us, next week.

Sounds like fun Chris. We are doing COBDR in mid July, on a couple of Terras, and lots of CO and surrounds after that. I've never been to the North Rim, but will do so this summer. Nice and cool up there.

Put Jim's 630 on the dyno today and found some hp adding fuel with iBeat. Settings were 104/106/108 as purchased, our best numbers were 110/110/120. Has a full Leo ti system, PU kit, no airbox baffle. It was popping on decel at 104, 110 made on/off low rpm throttle smoother and fixed the pop. Looks like the full Leo sys makes about +1hp over my FMF slip on.
