Welcome to The USGenWeb Project! We are a group of volunteers working together to provide free genealogy websites for genealogical research in every county and every state of the United States. This Project is non-commercial and fully committed to free genealogy access for everyone. Organization is by county and state, and this website provides you with links to all the state genealogy websites which, in turn, provide gateways to the counties. The USGenWeb Project also sponsors important Special Projects at the national level and this website provides an entry point to all of those pages, as well.
Clicking on a State Link (on the left) will take you to the State's website. Clicking on the tabs above will take you to additional information and links. You can also use the drop down menu in the upper left hand corner which will also take you to the State's website of your choice
All of the volunteers who make up The USGenWeb Project are very proud of this endeavor and hope that you will find their hard work both beneficial and rewarding. Thank you for visiting!

I don't think it will take a Lewis and Clark Expedition to find it like EBW's previous tag...

For those of us that don't search the net for all this info, what is it by, or maybe a HWY# or street clue? Please save all the off color remarks that we got from the last tag for something else, I'm not trying to rock the boat, just trying to get this thing back in gear and moving along.

Well, the clues could Spann a wide variety with the group we have here. But you'd have to be willing to do a little searching, like the Lewis and Clark Expedition to find it with the clues I've given and apparently you don't want to put the effort into it. Do y'all want this to be like the Alabama Tag game where they just post the GPS coordinates and nearest intersection right of the bat? Half the fun is figuring out the clues, when they are REAL clues...

Yeah, you're right, I don't want to spend a lot of time researching all of it.
The only Spann I know is Jesse, and I don't think they've buried his Negro ass yet. Keep 'em coming. Takes a while to sink in

As you like to say, the clues will all make sense, AFTER THE FACT...

And unlike EBW, I went to Google, typed in a keyword and details about what it is and it has the location marked on a map as the first result....
