I'm back! Where did summer go?

Peyton looks rusty. The batted balls by the d-linemen are enough to concern me.....a little. He will come around, the flashes are there, but he's not the same Peyton that was single handedly dragging the Colts to the playoffs. He's been off for what....18 months? He's bound to be rusty. Its gonna take him a few weeks to get back up to speed. I'm ok with that. At least he's not one hopping the ball on the out routes.

Still, 0 td's and 3 picks are Tebow-esque #'s.

I have a childs Cutler Bronco jersey thats free to somebody here if they want it. I bought it for my daughter one year and it was the wrong size (too small). Looked in the closet the other day and there it was still in the bag it got shipped with.

Never said he didn't win ballgames. Also never said he sucked. Just made mention of the fact that the boy doesn't put up good numbers and that Peyton wasn't very sharp yet. You won't find a bigger Tebow fan than me.

Manning looked very good yesterday. Crisp passes, on target, scored points.

Tebow is in a no-win situation. I would have loved for him to stay here and learn from Manning.

The Broncos have some tough choices to make today as do the other 31 teams. I'm watching what they'll do at linebacker, DB & safety, QB, and RB.

The one position that really has me interested is QB where Caleb Hanie seems to be the front runner for backup to Manning. I'm not too enthused about him but I really like Adam Weber, who played his college football at Minnesota. Weber's a Josh McDaniel pick though and that has me wondering if his days are numbered.

I don't see why. Josh knows QB's. Given the time to work with Tebow, he would have polished him to a high shine too. Not every coach can do that, Josh McDaniel's can. Weber is a more traditional QB, I would think they would see that quality in him as you do.
