Out on a limb... The winner tonight wins the AFCW... By a field goal...

I have no feel for this game whatsoever. After watching the ups and downs of the past two weekends it's tough to make a call. Logic says it'll be the Chargers but last year's Bronco teams split home and home series with their AFC bretheren by winning in each other's back yards.

One thing I know is that Rivers won't be jawing at his idol. Another thing I know is that Manning's arm strength ain't what it used to be, period. Will it come back? Not any time soon IMHO.

The line started out at 5 1/2 but the last time I heard a status it was floating between 1 or a pick 'em.

All is well in Spankyland.

And somewhere in this country Jay Cutler's laughing his ass off.

Late getting back after putting the kids to bed and I missed the first touchdown after the half.

Then I was in "I can't watch this" mode and started channel surfing, each time I'd click back we'd scored.

Somehow I managed to miss all 35 points

I was kinda jacked up after the game so I switched channels to the NFL Network and watched Norv's post game conference. Two observations: he looked shell shocked; the reporter who asked about the timing of their bye week and suggested he fall on his sword and quit takes the cake for being a low life.

Yep, the upcoming game against the Pats will be interesting but what's a "corker?"
You might be on to something here. Both AF and the Broncos have gone exactly WLLWLW through their first 6 games.

Good thing Broncos are on a Bye--cause otherwise I'd have to cheer against UNM.

Saints on Sunday

Should be interesting tonight. I'm thinking high scoring, not much defense.

Well, three years later here they are returning to the scene of the crime. I doubt the Broncos will need a miracle pass this time but with the Bengals one a 3 game skid and a week off to prepare I'm wondering what will happen. Oh well, if there's one thing I can be sure of Mr. Dalton's going to be introduced the Mother Earth a time or two by Von Doom.
