I didn't get to see the game but the Gamecast looks like the Raiders just ran out of 'stop' on defense.

This sucks. At least the Chargers are losing to the Pack.

I've said it here before... Denver wins in Oakland, Oakland wins in Denver. Seems to have been the way it has been in recent years.

(I too missed the game, heard the first quarter on the radio--Raiders' feed-- actually pretty good, very good radio )

I can usually listen in to the radio streaming. I couldn't today. My #3 had his first birthday party. I had the gamecast from NFL.com running on the iPad in the kitchen.

I agree. Raiders radio is very good.

I'm still not convinced he is the QB of the future. Didn't see (or hear) the game, but sounds like still has problems with accuracy etc. Roughly 120 passing yards isn't all that amazing.

That Oakland couldn't stop the run, at all, seems to be a huge factor this week.

Nor am I but one has to wonder how much better he might be if the NFL had a regular off season with mini camps, etc. Some of Tebow's passes were off and his receivers still struggle with his left handed delivery but something tells me that this upcoming game may be the more telling of any this season. It doesn't help that KC got spanked by a winless Fins team but hey, Elway had to endure that environment too.

As for the Raiders all I can say is that they are as much a mystery to me as they must be to their fans. Honestly, they thrive on their "mystique" but can't seem to accept success.

The entire Raiders team knew KC had lost and SD was having their ass handed to them by GB so an AFC West division lead was assured if they play hard. Fifteen penalties for 130 yards later and just plain giving up in the latter part of the 4th quarter tells me they don't want the prosperity. I mean, seriously, have you ever seen a TD so easy as the last McGahee run? The Raider defenders simply stopped chasing him.

Who knows, maybe that Silver & Black bad ass BS attitude only takes you so far....and then you actually have to play.

Losing Rolando McClain early was a big loss. He anchors the defense.

Meh. This weekend only cemented the xFC West as the NFL Developmental League. Winning the xFC West is like fishing in an outhouse for the dime you dropped and accidentally finding a quarter.

You are assuming that he has enough players around him to make the playoffs. Hope you don't think McGahee will be able to keep that up? That is a big assume for Denver, especially in that division. He will be successful somewhere, he just wins baby. I don't see the great one building a team to play that kind of football. He will fashion it after himself. Somebody like,....like.....Jay Cutler. I'll bet Elway won't trade him in division though.

You can hate on him all you want....he will just carry on.

He's two for three (within one pass of being three for four) on a horrible team. I don't really know how you have the cognitive ability to state without reservation that he can't lead a team through the playoffs. Trent Dilfer comes to mind.
Philip Rivers is the Belle of the ball, but has he led his team (arguably one of the best teams in the league) through the playoffs? How about Shaub? None of those guys catch the amount of flack Tim does. If San Diego tanks, it's always Norm's fault, right?
The amount of bullshit Tim takes is ridiculous when I think about players like Ryan Leaf, Brady Quinn and Jimmy Clausen. He wasn't taken #1 overall for christ's sake. In a lot of ways, I wish he had simply fallen 3-4 spots and into the second round...his life would have been orders of magnitude better.

Yes, Tebow looked better, the TD passes actually LOOKED like NFL passes and not wobbly rainbows. But he was what 50% on his passes? Eventually when you play those odds you will lose.

4 combined touchdowns, 0 ints. Sacked only twice, one of which came w/ Raider a personal foul/first down, generally got the snot knocked out him all game and he delivered a momentum changing win. Less than 50% completions but many balls were dropped. Two thumbs up.

Broncos won't win any more games when they give away 90+ penalty yards.

Broncos won't play any more opponents who roll over and play dead in the second half the way the lazy assed Faiders did.

If the wheels on the Juggs ball throwing machine need to be tilted the other way to throw lefty, make it so. Turn it up to 11 till the receivers re-learn to catch the fucking ball.

Call up Kurt Warner once a week for a pep talk about doing what everyone says you can't.

Even Tebow, or Elway, can't put a high shine on a turd. The retread Fox is not going to either. If he had the juice, he would have proved it at the last stop.
