Nah, ag pilot mate. Spent last 15 yrs in Wee Waa, Narrabri, Moree. Talk to Nandewar fairly reguarly . Ride Kaputar , Bingara mostly. A nite up Kaputar or similar would be pretty good.

Hey there, how are the withdrawal symptoms? I am still suffering. Had a quick squirt on the 450 on the weekend and will do the same this long weekend but wont be getting the trannie out of the shed.

real bad now i am back at work and on call for the next few weeks so i cant ride even if i wanted to which always makes it worse i guess i will do some work on it or the jeep to keep me ammused

If you are talking a mid summer ride, the Barraba Track to the top of Mt Kaputar would be the coolest option. There are showers and camping at Dawsons Springs and it would be 10 degrees cooler on top. Gateman could get the key for the gate

It would be a bring your own everything kind of deal though.

Whatever or where ever, I'll be doing my best to get there. So count Nandewar in - unless it involves the Bledisloe and Brotownboy

Mate, I'm always up for a challenge.

I've never been up to the top of Kaputar via the Baraba Track, but I remember the lower section being a good run. Keys for the locked gate at the Baraba BP. I'd love to give it another go, the first time I was 2up and the hand break through out the anchor when it started to get interesting.

No Horton for me, all this work and family stuff seem to be eating into my riding time.

I can relate to the work and family time cutting into riding time!

for the horton ride there is allegedly a road through spion kopp (spelling) that is awesome and hardly travelled it runs along the mountains to maules creek Brett do you know anything about that?

I would also like to do that ride over blue knobby onto table top and out on to the barraba road I did it in 4wd as a kid and its sticks out as a challenging section!

The key is no problem to collect and return for me. Single track?Hmm I think bash bars go back on hay. That area has some real good photo ops for those with pictorial intent. Gateman
