Randall "Tex" Cobb- dude actually got in the ring with Larry Holmes (iirc) and made it through the fight. He played a bounty hunter in the movie hired by the rich dude to retrieve the baby. Dang it's been what 20 yrs? I remember that the bike was *not* a Harley.

This is an abandoned memorial park for some important figure in this border city (to me) who's nickname (for figure not the city)was "crazy". P.S.- I had to do a little internet research to get clues. Never heard of him. Unless this old dance club next door was named after him also.

My recent Tag is in your back yard....there's only so much day light...

These "unfinished Greek lookin' ruins" are off of 135th St just a tad bit east of RT53 in the Romeoville area. Futher east of those *ruins* lies the Citgo refinery (my #2 son works there), the Com Ed coal plant and DesPlaines River....all this is 'bout 2-3 miles south of Lemont on "New Ave?"...
For years people could only cross the River/Canal at the Lockport Bridge or take Bluff Road west of Lemont/State street to access Joliet Road and or Rt53.
