Expert Technical Project Manager

I am in this boat as well. I don't want to post my entire resume, but here are some very general highlights.

Name: Brice Osborne
Location: Los Gatos, CA (SF Bay Area)
Education: Undergrad Economics, Masters in Computer Science
Experience: Last 2 companies I worked for were in the Telematics space (a vehicle mounted widget that captures information and then transmits data via a terrestrial based wireless network back to servers as a hosted means of presentation of the captured data). I also have many years in telecommunications as a project manager for AT&T (the old version).

From the tech perspective, you name it, I've done it and communicated at all levels of management and size of customer from multi million dollar deals to simple network upgrades. At the last company I even did the majority of physical initial installations for the company as well as project managed the entire implementation.

Thanks for starting this, Garry.

I know you folks in CA have different fire standards, so not really looking for a job there, but AZ, NM, NV, CO an UT are my first through 5th choices, in that order.

Thanks in advance for any pm's or emails!

Pilot in TUS

I'm in Tucson, been flying for 20+ years.
Currently flying Airbus, but don't hold that against me.
I would like to find something more local in nature. I'll fly your corporate Jet, Turbo Prop, Recip etc., teach your kids how to fly and your wife how to ride bikes. I am a Jill of all trades.

I also play around with antiques, classics and aerobatic planes. Flown many types and current Tailwheel.

PM me with any questions.

[if this is out of line, mods please delete]

My dad is a semi-retired truck driver, specializing in hazardous materials - fully licensed with an insanely safe track record over the past 30+ years. He retired from Air Products and Chemicals last year and now lives in Peoria, AZ.

He's available to do short term, short notice gigs for trucking companies around the valley - literally, he will fill in for your sick driver, extra capacity, etc.... if you need him to do so.

Anyone needing a really reliable, safe CDL driver in PHX / TUS (and with some exceptions, the three state area), PM me for his contact info.

He's not really interested in OTR stuff unless its really special / lucrative / one-off.
You have been warned.

OK, this is probably going to be a longshot but here it goes:

I am an Estate Caretaker by profession for the last 9 years. I am basically a jack-of-all-trades for your private estate(s). The last client I worked for in Montana was on the Fortune 500 list. I have operated heavy equipment, drove a snowplow, fought fires, have security training, have knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, mechanics and welding. I have done all sorts of landscaping, some forest management, pool care, vitaculture (grapes), veggie gardening, doggie/cat care and pond maintenance. Anything I haven't done I'm eager to learn. I am currently idle in Temecula, Ca and looking to find a position somewhere in live-in position somewhere in the west. So, if you are/or know of any wealthy folks that need someone to look after their estate, I'm the guy (and I come with great letter's of recommendation!). Thanks.

Accounting Job

Anyone here have a lead on an entry-level accounting gig? Preferably with a CPA firm in the San Jose area?

I graduated in 2003 with a finance and accounting degree, but went into construction project management after college. Now that construction is dead as dead, I dusted off that degree, sat for and passed the CPA exam, and now am looking for my first accounting job. I'm very flexible on pay, just need to get my foot in the door and build some experience.
