Looking for Geology job near Reno/ Carson City

I'm lining up in Humboldt County California and I'll be graduating from HUmboldt State University in May with a degree in Geology. I am looking for a geology job in the Reno/ Carson City area.

I also have a degree in automotive technology and atomotive fabrication from WyoTech in Laramie, Wy. I worked for a couple years as a fabricator for a concept car manufacturer in Orange, Ca. I can mig tig and gas weld. I ran a race parts manufacturing line for about a year with the same company.

I am really looking to get out of the rain and back to the desert so if anyone knows of any jobs out there PM me.

Waterproof Motorcycle Luggage

Hey everyone!

I'm starting a business making waterproof luggage specifically for the Adventure Rider and touring motorcyclist.

I'm kicking it off with a really simple product - a waterproof liner or insert specifically for laptops and other small electronic devices.

You can check out my website and facebook page here:
(website isn't live yet. It should be good to go in 1-2 weeks)

I'll be having a launch party soon in the LA/OC area of California, ADV Riders are all invited. The Facebook page and website will have the most up-to-date information, but I'll post about it here when I have an official date and more information.

I see a few people looking for aerospace work. I'm employed by Parker Aerospace in So Cal. Parker has several facilities in the L.A. area.

Go to and look under careers. They also have many jobs in the industrial divisions also. Parker is short for Parker Hannifin.

I'm not in HR so this is not a guarentee of a job, just a heads up.

Accounting/Finance in Los Angeles or ?

I'm looking primarily for Accounting/Finance work in the Greater Los Angeles or greater Southwestern States region (will relocate for the right opportunity).

I will also consider a career change, as it seems that this is the trend for finding work lately. I am open to just about anything, but tend to shy away from commission-only work. I am scientifically-minded, but have also been praised for my photography and prose.

A long shot for sure, but here's an "abstract" of my resume . . .

Graduated Cal Poly with a BS in Business Administration, Public Accounting 1992.

Spent the last 10 years or so doing Fund Accounting for City of Azusa, City of El Monte and City of Rialto, including several temporary assignments and consulting projects.

Have worked in a CPA firm for 3 years doing audits. Have done work in Payroll, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Purchasing, Financial Statement and Workpapers Preparation and much, much more.

Have worked for private industry, including traded companies the rest of the time.

Served in the Army 4 years as a Supply Specialist.

Much more about me than I want to list here.

I can LEARN and DO just about ANYTHING, and do it well . . . just need a break for a real opportunity.

Thanks for your consideration.

Happy Trails!

Another attorney here, and I specialize in lemon law. I also take personal injury cases by referral only (no cheesy advertising).

I'd be happy to talk with anyone who needs to know if they have a lemon on their hands and the best way to pursue it.

Contrary to what I frequently see on this site and others, a motorcycleis covered under the California lemon law, as are all consumer goods (ie. appliances, boats, etc.).

Feel free to give me a call. Here's my website:

Behavioral Consultation (Autism/DD/typically developing)

Hello fellow riders,

I'm a master's level board certified behavior analyst (BCBA) who has been in the field of applied behavior analysis (ABA) for more than 10 years. I am available for private behavioral consultation to help you learn the principles and strategies that will empower you to more effectively manage your child's challenging behaviors and help you put systems in place that can prevent those behaviors from happening in the first place. I am willing to travel outside of the Bay Area.

Also, if you have funding through regional center, school district, or insurance and are looking for a non-public agency provider, I can connect you with one of if not the most reputable ABA service provider agency in the area.

Send me a private message to set up a meeting or a phone call. Cheers.

4-axis CNC milling in SF Bay area

I've got a 4 axis CNC mill ready to make custom parts. I also like to collaborate with folks on design and prototyping. I can read most CAD files using SolidWorks or Autodesk Inventor.

What can we make together?

Expert window + door service, SF Bay area

I have a company providing expert factory-trained window and door service in the greater San Francisco Bay area.

We do Marvin and Integrity warranty service, and out-of-warranty service for all makes including Andersen, Milgard, TruStile, IMP, TM Cobb and Jeld-Wen.

Have a door that's bugging you? Binding, doesn't seal, hinges sagging, hardware shot? We are the door mechanics that can change that constant irritation into something pleasing, closing with that satisfyingly smooth "thunk" that a good door should have.
