Trials bikes and gear is unique enough to warrant their own local Flea Market.

Might be a hard sell for Flea Market, there isn't even a Hawaii Regional forum and we're the 50th State!

Trials is a non-existent market over here, rarely anything on Craigs List, that said I'm picking up my first Putt Putt this weekend via a word of mouth connection. I'm fired up, a hardly ridden '03 Scorpa SY250 for a little more than a song!

So you are in paradise without a trials bike. Makes me think of the up a creek without a paddle.

I am hoping for some stuff to be listed, so I can see what my options are if I decide to get back into the sport.

Trials are a unique subset of motorcycling. I think that the bikes and equipment are different enough to warrant their own thread.

I think Hawaii is included in the "west" forum. Don't feel bad, I'm included in the "Pacific Northwet where it's green and wet" and I live in a desert.

The search function in the flea market works reasonably well if you type in "trials"

Most folks with trials bikes over here use them as trail bikes for tougher trails though there is the occasional organized event on Kauai. Click Here

It's a shame that nice helmet will not fit around my cinder block-like melon (I already tried one that size on). That is a killer deal!

I really want one of the new 4 strokes just to be "Green" and all...of couse if I really wanted to be green I'd do mountain bike trials. But I'm just too lazy for that.

Agreed, but we've got to keep it tight in here. If your item ain't trials-related, put it in the regular FM. Pointers to cool trials stuff on Craigslist and eBay will be tolerated but excessive pimping/bumping/etc will get my attention in a hurry. If you have something to sell, DO NOT START A THREAD! Instead, add it to the Trials-specific FM thread that is stickied at the top of the forum (give me a minute to make this happen). Once your item is sold, please delete your post.

Now. We'll see how it goes.
