Rockies regional randomness

A thread for random stuff not worthy of its own thread....

Rockies style since we are such a tight knit group of friends here (anyone know if the other regional forums are like we are )

There is a wild chicken outside my window and it is making a helluva racket.

I had no idea a single chicken could be so loud.

Hi Geek.

Marc
Cheryl has been knitting me a touque for like a year and a half. I think her knitting schedule was inspired by 309's maintenance schedule

Cheryl & I need to make a knitting date...I'm starting to get back to needles...finally! Gave Hell his first knitting lesson last week. Perhaps it's time you learned, Ed. Could be a knitting double date!

Ed you must be bored, go work on that bike, or better yet find out when the new OB's will be open.

Not a chance in hell.

Though my grandma did teach me to crochet when I was a kid

I used to work with a Somoan (or maybe it was micronesion (sp?)) guy who said he used to hunt chickens with onions

How the hell do you do that?

do you use the onion as bait or do you throw the onion at the chicken and knock it out?
OR
did he mean "hunt chickens who have their own onions" "lol3

I killed "two chickens with one onion!"
Somoan version of "two birds with one stone!"
