I had to ride that morning from Grand Junction to Moab. Needless to say I could not see out of my left eye at all. That has never happened to me while riding so I did not know what to expect...needless to say I had some pucker moments and slowed WAY down until the swelling got better. Sucked big time!!
Dang Dusty, that looks nasty!

Ben...I couldn't even open my eye so ya pretty much non existent

Leigh...It was definitely no fun. Lucky for me the swelling started to go down that evening and I could open my eye again enough to see. Funny, I spent the next 4 days explaining to everyone at a rally that I got stung by a bee. What was even better is the stories exploded once we had all had a few

This has happened to me twice since I was 12. First time, I woke up with an eye just like yours, D. Second time was when I was 21 and woke up with my lip so swollen it looked like it was gonna explode. Both times, it took all day to go down. Some of those little night time spiders pack a serious punch!

i bet Lee Parks would whip your ass no matter what bike you were both on.

i see you've migrated your 1190 rant over here too.
KTM wants to sell more bikes and is not holding a gun to your head to sell your 950 and buy the 1190...now get back to work on that thing.

Abso-fucking-lutely hilarious!

State-run newspaper picks up Onion Kim Jong Eun hoax

And this isn't even the first time this paper has fallen for an Onion story. They ran another about Congress looking to relocate to a new building... one with a retractable dome!

This morning my wife's Xerox PC monitor caught on fire - Not a great way for a monitor to fail.

How old was it? Hasn't it been years (decades, even) since Xerox made PCs?
