I was on the way back home from an early morning run to Lowes (had an irrigation pump take a dump on my, but that's a different story).

This sign actually made me stop, turn the car around, park and walk over to snap this shot...

...a testament to the state of the education system in this country.

No.. it was a yard sale. I'd like to assume they were being cheeky to draw attention, but in this neighborhood, that's being generous.

Speaking of Ace, the boys at the Green Mountain Ace Hardware saved my bacon yesterday!

I passed a sign in Broken Bow Arkansas for years that said "Live Biat".

OK... this kid freaks me out. Looks like she is thinking - "Don't you even touch my fooking donuts or I'll take your hands off". Then again, mommy has some pretty freaky looking fingers anyway.

Donuts bring out the little monster in all of us...

You could have gone for an hour and a half ride and still come back before they opened

How can it be fun if there's not at least an outside chance of dying?

Yup. They don't teach cognitive skills like critical thinking and introspection as they used to. But then maybe they don't get so much to work with either. You can't teach a grapefruit to write sonnets, much less good ones.
