I'll probably be driving up Saturday afternoon from a Four Stroke Singles National Owners Club lunch that is in Jemez Springs, NM. I'd rather not stay in a Walmart parking lot . Forest service campsites or boondocking would be good, imagine it might be busy on a Saturday night.

There are only 2 places I can think of in that area without getting too far from I-25. Cherry creek reservoir campground or Chatfiled state park campground.

Nice bike, hope you have a good trip.

Both of those parts would suit your purposes nicely. Water quality seems to be better at Chatfield. Just sayin'.

Both those places are full, no reservations available. Any good options near Cripple Creek or Rampart??

Rampart will probably be full of people on Saturday night but it's not too far off your route... The further south you go on Rampart Range road, the better the camping and less people. You can also take this road all the way to Woodland park, but there's a lot of washboard and potholes all over this road so you need a solid trailer if you're gonna cruise the whole ~50 miles.

There's also camping north of Divide that can put you right by the 717 trail system.

Other then that... If you have the time, roll through Sedalia and head down to Deckers. From there take a left on Hwy 67 and this will take you through Westcreek/Rainbow Falls. You can also link up with the 717 system from the Westcreek side and Rainbow Falls connects with the Rampart Range trail system. These last two are places where you could camp as well and not have to worry about as many people as there would be at Rampart on a Saturday night.

We complain when we go to the DMV and are number 16 in line.
Here is the daily scene at Xierqi Station in Beijing at rush hour

Sure glad it isn't part of my commute

It strikes me that having and entry and exit side separately might be ideal for this situation.

Wow. I'm sure glad it wasn't like that the day I rode the subway in Beijing. Dunno if it was my particular route or the mid-afternoon timing, but my experience there was far less crowded than I've seen in Washington, D.C. on an average day. Good thing for me. I have trouble in crowds when things get tight. Good thing I live in the middle of nowhere!

So I invited Uncle Dirt to come over and help me move some stuff in order to get new carpet put in. Yeah, I know....everyone hates carpet...I don't. Anyway, I invite the guy over and he instead makes my house more ghetto by putting the couch on the front porch.

Thanks man.

but....my house looks like this. Close...so close...

Getting there...

\and the Bartender says "what'll you have?"
The bear goes "I'll have a rum... ... ... ... ... and a coke."
Bartender says "why the pause?"
then the bear shrugs
"i dunno, i was born with them."

They are contemplating installing some of those bear proof door latches on the front door of the bar (like the trash cans have) but they're worried that the drunks (or the turons) won't be able to figure out how to get in
