Question: how'd you get the snowmobile and moto icons bigger on your main menu?

Looks great!

Stayed up way too late last night tweaking my new smugmug themes...

Wish that there was a way to select a content box, specify recent photos, and then specify # of days...

Are you running a level higher than basic Paul? I think you can do some of those things (for example select a content box and specify recent photos in it)... but the full customization doesn't begin until a level 2 account.

...and then there is CSS if you really want to waste time

'Power' level subscription...

I can select recent photos in a content box, and I can limit the number of rows, but I don't see any way to limit the number of days, at least not without CSS. Not that important, I just thought it would be cool to put up the last few days photos on my home page, regardless of what gallery they are in, without them necessarily sticking around until I upload something new.

I also set up a 'Favorites' content box on my home page that looked for a particular keyword on my photos to display some favorite images on my home page... Works great when logged in, but is fubar'ed as a guest. I think it was because I didn't have smugmug search enabled for many of my galleries and smugmug keeps a different index of your images for private and public use. Fixed the permissions, but still not working. Hopefully just needs some time to update the public index.

Gotcha. I am a 'power' user too. Still messing with it. I cheat on the favorites and actually duplicate favorites in a gallery called favorites and display that gallery but I like your method with the search better!

I'm really enjoying the ability to do things like set a gallery to "collage landscape".
It is so much quicker to scroll through a large gallery of photos with the mouse wheel (or finger) than it ever was click "next" for 18 pages!

one quirk I still have with chrome (I don't know if it is my combination of popup blockers or what). When I'm done uploading images and I click "I'm done" or the X in the corner.. the upload dialog does not close. I have to refresh the page. Had this quirk in the old version too.

I need to put a little redbull logo in the corner of every photo and have redbull pay me a nickle for each view - 570,944 photo views this month
Cripes if I knew that many people were looking at them I'd take more time to get things in focus

Anybody speak chinese?
Apparently I have a bunch of photo traffic from a website called "moto8.com" - but I can't read it

The G-Dog got skunked last night! Wow... wasn't expecting THAT surprise!

We were in our "media room" watching a flick and I could smell one of the little bastards and so did Gretchen, but I calmed her down and we went back to watching the movie. An hour later we came back up to go to bed and I'd totally forgotten about Pepé Le Pew. Obviously, Gretchen hadn't... she blasted out her dog door, but I just assumed she was going out for her evening constitutional.

A few minutes later, I hear her come in the dog door and making this weird snuffling. As she's walking toward me, I could tell things were not right... she was blinking and snuffling and looking generally pathetic.

Then...

THE SMELL HIT ME! HOLY SCHNIKEYS!

I'd never been around a fresh skunking before and had NO IDEA it smelled like a Goodyear Tire Factory Fire!!! WOW! This smell was nothing like that classic "Dead skunk in the middle of the road" smell we all know and hate so well.

Luckily, she only got it in the face and we got her right into the bathtub. I jumped online and found the 1 quart hydrogen peroxide | 1/4 cup baking soda | 1 tsp dish soap recipe very quickly. While I was mixing up a batch, my wife started washing the poor girl with T-Gel.

We quickly ran out of hydrogen peroxide, so while I ran out for more (so glad we have a 24-7 King Soopers in our 'hood!), my wife kept up the T-Gel washings. We must have washed her 20-30 times! And, I think all those washings while the spraying was fresh made the difference: this morning, it's only a small part of her face that has any smell, and it's very light.

Of course, all the face clothes and towels we used on her are already in the trash!

Just wait until the next time she gets wet. Obviously it won't be as stong but that stuff just won't go away.

I had a dog get sprayed, mostly indirectly since the neighbor's dog took the direct hit, and every time they would wrestle and slobber on eachother that smell would remind you that it was still there.

And yes, the direct from the skunk smell is surprisingly different than the driving through the country smell.
