RALLYRAIDio is back! Hurray for a new season!
Great call in from Jenny, I hope she'll be able to call again.

Good to hear about Helly and Christian on the team as well, they introduced themselves here recently.

The 690/660 pairing looks really sharp:

Jenny rings in after a brutal day on the piste in Morocco. Mick has crashed out with a hard concussion, and is currently in hospital with injured vertebrae. Clive (Patsy's husband) cut his hand. Jenny lost rear wheel bearing at 60km/h and took the caliper bracket with it, which she thought would take her out of the rally but thank heavens for the service crew (who had their own troubles!).

Hopefully the days ahead will be a bit more kind, as they're only about 1/4 through the event so far!

All the best for Nick, hope it's not too serious, and he makes a speedy recovery, and that Clive's hand doesn't stop him continuing. Stuff like this from so early on in the event just shows the endurance vs. out and out race elements, especially for privateers - Hang in there Jenny !

Agreed, a cut hand won't stop Clive Dredge.

Everyone enjoy, Grimmy

Really enjoying the RallyRaidio call in's Jenny...keep them coming.

Not sure how they routed you down to Merzouga...there is definitely some nasty, rocky unforgiving sections along the way though.

Bummer about Clive's hand so early in the rally...keep popping some pain pills!

rally-team.at reports a monster stage today with lots of face plants, difficult navigation over 500km of special. Only a handful of riders were in by 8pm. Chris Horvath is 3rd overall on his 660RR.

Jenny calls in before the start, 8 days into the rallye. Still in Morocco, they've a long way to go yet. I think she's got the knack of this call in thing -- what do you guys think?

Direct download: http://media.libsyn.com/media/rallyraidio/09HL03.mp3

Thanks, Jenny!
