Looking at you bike Gus makes me want for the days when a standard plated dirt bike came with a damn seat actually built for a grown man. These new bikes have seats I can only describe as thongs. They taint comfortable I can tell you that. The old bikes were better in this aspect.

Very cool Gus! Glad it started and ran for ya. Like Terry said, maybe dirty carb. It could also need rejetting as it was at high altitude.

ZeCat, is the battery there just to smooth out the voltage or? Nothing electrical works until the bike is running. ???

Internal battery will run GPS for a long time if I have to. Battery is so bad I could not get a voltage reading and I could not rev it up due to carb. ::: sheesh :::

The battery is to run the lights if your broke down on the side of the road. Technically my bike is not street legal cause of that fact, add in that I don;t have a speedo on it anymore either. Thats what the GPS is for.

Sounds like you better head to Wally World and get a new battery. If nothing else it will be a more reliable sorce of power for the GPS.

I always worry about doing this for some reason. DFA = 'grumpy god' who likes to see me run all over the country jumping through hoops.....

I was just over there, visiting Gus,

It runs great. He had the carb straightened out before I got there. So all we had to do it visit. Had a great time meeting you Gus and playing on your new toy.

I forgot my camera though.

Hey Terry, wouldn't you agree, he has a really cool Garage. It has all kinds of neat organization features... Too bad He doesn't use them..
