Yep... Although Scorch has a route he'd like to show me and asked to meet 15/55 Sheetz vice Sperryville. He hasn't chimed in since (another board).

So, yah, I'm gonna' try and beat the weather. Maybe earlier is better to get more dry riding in.

So right now, it's either Mountainside Market in Sperryville or 15/55 Sheetz. I'm way open to suggestions on route. I just wanna' ride.

You may be right since the hurricane has slowed down, Monday may be nice. CapoPaul has agreed to meet me at the 7-11 just before the entrance to Skyline Drive on Rt340 Sunday to help scout out some routes. So if anyone wants to ride on Sunday, meet us at 9:30 at the above location. I may make it on Monday as well...just finalize the meeting location and time.

I would also like to gauge the interest for a campout and ride next weekend at my place. I can provide most of the food and would like some help with the adult beverages and have plenty of tenting space, firepit and swimming pool. If there is any interest in a campout for the weekend of 9/11-12 let start it in this thread. If you don't have a tent, you can sleep in one of my barns or the gazebo, just bring a sleeping bag. So let's hear it if you are interested for this weekend or next.

Hahaha.... yep. Road. No plans. Say 9am Sperryville at Mountainside Market? Ray's Deli if MM is closed.

Another Dear Garmin Letter....

Woodstock Tower Road is not paved...neither is the appropriately named Crooked Run Road AKA RT720. Oh, it's paved for a few miles, then turns to a crooked run double track over the mountain to WVA and ends up near the also appropriately named Lost River State Park and Lost City WVA. Between playing with my 2610 and missing road signs, I only managed to get NWBMR, CapoPaul and myself lost two or three times...but who's counting? We rode quite a few fun twisties today and generally had a great time getting lost. We ended up riding Rt259, Old Rt55, Smoke Hole, RT33, and came back up Rt42 through some nice twisty farmland and decided we would lead some Sport Bike riders up "Crooked Run Road" on our next outing. Do you trust us? Yea, like a used car salesman

I'm out. I have a guy with a front loader coming over to finish my fire pit tomorrow. BTW, anyone interested in a campout/ride next weekend?

Hey Keith, it's raining, Woodstock Tower and 720 won't be that dusty today.
I had a good time yesterday, cought a little rain on the way home but that's what the bike needed to clean all the dust off.
Let's do it again.
