I had a good ride this afternoon. I took it easy, for the most part. A few wheelies here and there - not on roads of course. I passed a lot of police though. I counted about 6 cars between two towns and about 10 miles. State cops and local. I thought FOR SURE I was going to get followed and a plate run on me, just to see if I'm legal. Nope, all smiles.

This is the best picture I could get of my bike and the boat.
Norwich CT Police Department, taken in Norwch Harbour. You can see the headquarters with the mural on it in the background. They've done a great job fixing up the area with a marina and restaurant.

The new tag shot is a picture of your bike in any abandoned building. Can't be just empty (like an empty parking garage), it has to be abandoned, in disrepair. Good luck. When I pulled out of the road where I took this, there was a cop half a block up the road. I was taking it easy though, nothing to see here.

akarob, what kind of tires are you running on that Katooom? Is that a Michelin Trials tire on the back?

That would be the Pirelli MT41 trials and a Pirelli MX front tire. I don't worry about the front tire for doing 50 miles here and there because the rocks around here still wear out the tire faster than the road. Sharp rocks are brutal on knobbies. The trials tire lasts great too. I get about half a season out of a set. I just ordered fresh tires to install in August, that'll last until the lakes freeze.

From last season - I never got to use them - too much snow.

Ha ha, coming from someone 2 miles from the border. You should be able to find plenty of old places down your way to grab a tag photo in.

Is that a phone booth? It looks like the kind you might find in England.

Interesting picture, but you'll need to find something at least big enough to get your bike in.

Missed that requirement. Will work on that. That does make it more challenging.
