Re: first to post.

You got it all the way. I just posted mine up for grins. Tags these days can come down to a battle of the smartphones and whose carrier is working most fluidly at that moment.

Wife and I did a couple of real tags today...when heading towards our next stop I noticed a bike that one of my riding buddies ride heading towards the tag we just got....I immediately thought Dam! he's gonna bruce me if we don't pull over and post that tag up now!!!!

Its funny how freaking slow the Internet connection is when your trying to post up a tag...

No, it's a wild card tag, hence the name of the game!

There are two towns in Va I could have used but I had no intention of heading to the flat lands to grab the tag.

Nice fast pace today in both wildcard games!!!

Playing the "other" games is nice if there is a mascot to grab. Then you don't have to rush to post. After all it IS about the ride, not the reception!

Agreed! I think there should be a rule stating that all tags have to be on 35mm film, hand scanned and posted via a dial-up connection!!!

Oh, I know. Some folks are more picky about tags than others. I just like to see a fast paced game even if I am stuck in the middle of "old school" technology and actually have to find a PC to complete any Tag I grab. I've missed more than a few due to having this limitation. But, it's a game and work supplies my phone.

I almost started checking into where I'd need to go in VA to snag this one...

Hand drawn sketches!

It's good to be picky. I have seen a few tags that the original tagger let go only to see somebody else get bruced while going to get the correct tag item.

I used to haul my 17" screen laptop with me but now I have an Asus EeePC. Still not as quick as a cell phone but...

What's that supposed to be? Don't see horses, can't read the sign.

Nice looking F800GS. Haven't seen the red/white/blue color scheme before. What year is that?

That's the plan. Got some long fantasy trips already laid out. Same motor as the 650 Ninja. Really like it so far.
Thanks!

It's probably a good bit quicker than *my* cell phone... I've got it to the point where I can send directly from the phone to Photobucket, but still have to track down a PC to hammer it home. Thinking about snagging an old laptop from work to make chasing long distance tags a reasonable proposition.

Laugh Beautiful Bike

wb57, I have the same bike. An Internet phone, a pocket to put it in. Perfect tagging setup. What a nice ride.

Yeah, I'm very happy with the bike so far. I find more I like about it every time I get on it.

My employer provides my cell phone and I could have probably held out for a smart phone, but felt like I shouldn't. Of course, I'm the one of about 15 that didn't... Of course, I could break it and take it from there.
