I like having extra daylight in the evening. Gives me more time to do stuff outside. Used to come in real handy when I was riding in the woods a lot.

I get up early 365. I just like being able to do more stuff later.
See if you'd just ride at night there would be no problem

I'm personally a fan of the european (and island) tradition of up before the sun, work a bit, spend the afternoon relaxing, work at night, pack up when the sun goes down. It makes for a continuous cycle of productive activity. Too bad most jobs stateside want me to work when I'd rather be resting and having fun (between 11am and 3 pm).

Daylight saving has caused controversy since it began. Winston Churchill argued that it enlarges "the opportunities for the pursuit of health and happiness among the millions of people who live in this country" and pundits have dubbed it "Daylight Slaving Time". Historically, retailing, sports and tourism interests have favored daylight saving, while agricultural and evening entertainment interests have opposed it, and its initial adoption had been prompted by energy crisis and war.

No doubt. And I enjoy it, just not having 90% (making this number up) of my vision hidden in the dark.

I think I'd personally be a fan of the Powerball (and MegaMillions) tradition of getting up whenever the f'k I want to, never working, spending what I want - when I want, not working at night either, ....

Other than having to show up for work that's exactly how I do it...and I'm about to go out for a tag now that the suns gone down three tags maybe....two are about 20 miles in one direction, the other is 20 miles in the opposite direction.

And now, without further adieu, here's a word form our next tag. In keeping with the directionally oriented nature of the tag, we'll now look for something from the opposite direction, something

SOUTHERN

Thought about that.

I'm looking at this one as "WEST" as opposed to "western".
