Dulceria is mexican/central american/south american candy shop depending on the specific variety of latin american sweet treat that gets stocked.

No substitutes...it has to be a dulciera (any legitimate latin american candy shop will use that word in its name or description anyway).

Might just be me, but I am thinking this is a bit to regional. I have never seen or ever heard of one in my area.

Charleetho, are you using the IMG link from Photobucket or the email/im link. The IMG link embeds the photo.

You must not have been looking in the right places. They are just about everywhere you find a tienda or latin bread market. A quick search brings up what looks like 2 in Raleigh, 1 in Wake Forest, and 1 in Durham. And that's just on the first 2 pages of google.

If Charleethos picture comes through he's got the grab.

I will nuke my other posts. Sorry, I was trying to use a combination of blackberry, opera and photobucket while standing in a parking lot, racing the setting sun! Enough excuses.

This was in Dillion Colorado. I was on a trip and saw the email. Googled it and was able to find the store on the way home.

The Store and Bike.

The store front

The candy

How I found it.

New Tag. Get us a picture of the "Welcome to" sign for the state next door to your home state. Clear?

The only listing/reference to one I could find was at Atlantic and Millbrook. Other than the Mexican restaurants, etc., the only thing I could find in there was something called Latin Tax Service or similar.

Oh well. I was trying to find something with "Memorial" in it as a followup and the one I went looking for on that fell through too.. It's been about a 50/50 fail rate tagging this weekend.

Edit: In retrospect, I wonder if it was part of the Mexican restaurant???

Did I stall the ol' tag-o-rama with my state line picture? You guys back east should be able grab a state line pretty easily.

Nah, it's fine. State line is about 60 miles. I'll get it if no one else does in the next few days/weekend.

I'm only about 40 miles, but I won't have time to do it until this weekend.
