Thx man! Yes, here are some great places to ride, and you are allowed to ride some great off road trails too , there's no restrictions yet, except the National Parks.

I am another romanian rider, friend with Hosszu, but I live in Cluj-Napoca(100km west from Targu Mures) near Apuseni Mountains (the western part of the Carpatians). I will post some picture from my rides in this area. Enjoy!

Transalpina (as well as Romania) is FANTASTIC. There you can find everything for adventure: nice places, good off-road and brand new asphalt stages, wild nature and friendly people.

Last weekend we had a nice tour on Transfagarasan:

Destinations: Jézer Lake (Iezer), Reketyés Peak (Retitis), Pietrele Doamnei and last but not least Tihuta Pass.

This time I rode along with my cousin Robi and his Dominator.

In the morning at 6:15, I looked up to the sky to see if there are some threatening clouds, but it was only o single cloud with this sunrise effect :

very nice pics from your trips trought romania,

I've been in the area of Deva during a 4X4 Transilphany trophy, there I rode on my friends KTM 640 adv, and 2 weeks later I bought myself one.

It was a great way to spend my vacation on the roads in Deva,
-offroad riding on bike
-taking pictures
-watching 4x4 exteme machines
-enjoy the peace of nature.....


One day I will come back to Romania..........
