Thanks for the heads up. Do you have any schedule info for when the races start and which days? I went to the website and could not find out what classes started when. Thanks.

If my memory serves me right they usually run the quads on Sat. and the bikes on Sun. With the amateurs in the AM and the pros starting at about 1PM.

Can anybody confirm or correct that info?

EDIT: 205'd by the "other" Kevin Thanks!

I'll be at Crawford's for the upcoming SV Rally. I plan on stopping by Fontana for a bit, but other than that......

Thanks for the heads up on this ride. It looks awesome. Too bad it is so far away from Charlotte. We had a great time at the AA300, sorry you couldn't make it.

I would really like to try out the Tennessee 2-Day. I have rode the Shenandoah 500 before and it was fun; a lot like here in WNC. If I didn't have a group lined up for the 12th and 13th I would definitely go. Would love to race the GNCC too but just not enough time. My pads are shot and my rear wheel is trash. Are you going to the 2-Day David?

No, I am not going to the 2 day in June. I have been racing the NC Hare Scrambles (NCHSA) this year and I am still nursing some bruised ribs from the May 23rd race. Went into and over the bars pretty hard. I am sitting out the June 6th race, may use it towards one of my work days.

I did the Shenendoah 500 last year with Nick. It was very well organized but too much gravel riding for me. I like the more trail oriented stuff like the AA300 and YanniPalooza.

My rear pads are shot as well and I ordered a new rotor. The service manual says the minimum thickness of the rotor is 3.5mm and mine measured 3.1mm!

Which reminds me...David do you know anyone local (semi) who can true-up my wobbly rear wheel? Half the spokes are froze and it's way out. I could go Excel/Buchanon/Talon all that etc. but I think I can save it, if I get on it now. I can't find anyone around here to help me out!

I agree on the S500. It was great but a tad too much gravel. The hero sections were very good but very short. Great group of folks up there either way.
