I would call Rick over at Cogent Dynamics in Asheville to see if he has any advice. He does suspension work and should know of someone. You could also try ACME Cycle. Sorry, not much help.

I think I am going to use Sunday as one of my "work days" at the Pilot Mountain race with NCHSA and give my ribs more time to heal. They are still a little sore from the County Line race on May 23rd. The AA300 didn't help much but it was worth it.

Hey! :idea you can help me push my bike when it breaks down since youre not racing!!!

Wicked Wanted to see if anyone's interested in hurricane crHurricane creek on sunday the 6th

Wanted to see if anyone is interested in a hurricane creek ride on Sunday. shoot through dogget gap and then up the back way and down. From there we go down to Hartford and check the digs, get a bite and move on....maybe more trail up the mountain. Shoot me a Pm if interested. Looking to leave AVL at 10ish but can meet along the way depending on where u is at...

If you are not familiar with hurricane creek its a nice little double track nothing too technical but it is trail.

My wife gave my ribs a thorough inspection this morning and said she could feel one of my ribs was definitely broken and could feel where the calcium was already starting to build up between the break. That means it is healing and should go by pretty quick. I went for a road bicycle ride today so that I don't get too out of shape before the June 23rd race. If the race is on this Sunday, I can work the 12:00 and 3:15 races and that will count as both of my work days. We have had 4.5 inches of rain in the last 2 days, so I may have picked a good race to sit out.

I think rain/wet will be the least of anyones worries... will be 95 degrees on sunday with high humidity, I wouldnt consider racing in those conditions

Let's Riiiiiide Biotches!!

Hurricane Creek Camping
July 17/18
Camping on Hurricane Creek this weekend on Saturday night to Sunday. Ride out from Asheville saturday earlyish (10am or so) to Trust, NC and drop down hurricane creek from the top. I will be looking to camp right at the intersection with hurricane creek just past the bus for those that know. BUT, if that is taken will be along the trail somewhere] look a little deeper there are some great spots.

If you would like to ride out early with me shoot a PM, depending on who it is can figure it out...I plan on going straight there, stripping the bike and doing some laps, beering up, etc...

Anyone welcome feel free to stop by, camping or not
Ryan
