Awesome report. I was in Namibia, Lesotho and SA late last year. Everytime I saw an ADV bike go by I wished I had my KTM with me.

I ate at the Napolitana in Swakop. Great pizza and probably the best service in the whole country.

Thumb Winter blues

It's cold, snowing, windy, been outside for the 4th time today to shovel what has got to be the heaviest snow I've shovelled in 30 years and then I come in to rest and read this Ride Report which teleports me to new countries, a great family and a wonderful adventure...what a great way to end the Day!
Thank to you and the family for taking the time to share your adventure. It makes winter a little more bearable till the next Spring and new Rides :)

I just wanted to add my comments after reading this wonderful RR

MJ, I really admire you for bringing your family on a trip like this. I really hope I can do something similar one day. The life lessons your daughter is gaining from you will provide her with an education richer than what most urban kids will ever get.
I can't help but think that if all kids could receive experiences like this as part of their education, may be, just maybe, the world might be a better place to live.

Thank you so much for selflessly sharing this with us. Now I need to explain to my boss why i have not done any work for the last 2 days.
