Thanks for the offer...I will go but I have to leave there to be back late afternoon. So I'll just drive separate so I don't have to inconvenience anyone if I'm leaving before anyone else!

Tony...I'm writing you a PM right now.

Saturday, 10/31. I've gotta take my 1150GS over to BMW of Little Rock.

1) Anyone want to ride along? I've got to be there @ 9a for an appointment but will undoubtably take the small fun roads home.

2) Anyone need anything? I've got 2 Jesse's and a flat rear section where I've tied down some pretty big stuff.

There is step by step instructions in "Ask Baldy". Easiest way is to put them on a hosting site, and then link the address.

Thumb Not quite Memphis...

As promised, Dawn et al...

Nov 5-8th - Mena, AR

Not in Memphis, but Ben and I are LEAVING from Memphis to go ride in Mena, AR. It's the "Carving the Ouachitas" Fast Lane Rally at the CMA headquarters. The kewl part is for an additional measly $50, you can register for a two day off road riding course taught by the gran pubah of BMW instructors (last I heard). IF THEY STILL HAVE SPACE...

http://cmausa.org/events

Now the tough part -- prereg deadline by phone is tomorrow, Oct 28th!

Ben and I are camping, they might have cabin space left open, call Misty and find out more!

I got the pics back from the drug store for the first ever Memphis Area PAB ride that was kind of organized on ADVrider.

I have no idea how far along this was planned before Jack posted in this thread, but I am fairly certain that Stinkfinger, XR650Rking and I caught wind through this thread.

To my surprise, we ended up with 9 riders and several trucks.

We stopped at this freaky moon-scape area to hunt a geocache. The black dirt was excreting ittle crystal slivers.

Fast Jack stopped to fish this lake while we rested and ate lunch. He inexplicably had two poles in his bag.

Then we all watched him eat tamallies.

The boys on the Husabergs make me wonder about the wisdom of a D/S bike without a kick stand.

This picture may not work. We stopped at a station that had working pumps and took up every one of them. The store was nice, but lacked hot food and cold beer.

My 690 and I are broken and muddy from a spill and from submarining it. Great thanks to Stinkfinger for dragging it out of the swamp for me.

A long pavement ride took us to one more Geocache event where we searched this cave which turned out to be pretty damn big inside. I would have searched it better if I had a decent light.

The flash worked pretty damned good.

Then we loaded up and went home. The station from which we staged didn't sell beer either so I owe Stinkfinger.

I sure had a great time, can't wait to get another one together.
