I am in Jackson. Will be planning some trips as soon as my sidecases come in. I am planning a morning ride early Fri thru Huntingdon up to Birdsong to see a buddy and back to Jackson.

Cheers!

Burn the Turkey ride
Anybody up for a ride Friday? Meet at the BP Canada Rd / I40. Heading into Fayette and skirting Haywood and Hardeman counties. Consisting of smooth twistys, less than smooth twistys, gravel, and dirt. I have 180 miles planned finishing at Somerville. The first loop is 80 if you need to cut it short. It also ends in Somerville.

My riding buddy OLSKOOL63 posted this in the Memphis dinner ride section for Friday the 28th. Meeting at 9 a m. This dude maps out some killer rides. I think im gonna have to work but if not the Screaming Yellow Strom will be there !

Snakes and Ditch Cleaner couldn't come out to play Friday, so we made up for it yesterday. Hit some new stuff with about 7 gravel roads mixed in. I ended up with 175 miles. Great times for sure

Hey Snakes, next time Drew needs to pin it at the old bridge crossing and just clear that shit lol.

No pics from Fridays arctic ride, but here's a few from yesterday.

Old school house turned house. And it's for sale. Very cool place.

Grizz, next time we ride out in your stomping grounds you should join us!

Speaking of riding, I will use this thread instead of the dinner thread going forward. Last post was in July and I couldn't find it

Sunday ride

Took the Strom out for a little exploring this afternoon. The solar farm in Haywood county was on my radar. Well, the bridge over 40 is gone.

The road that led me here

Quick google search and I learned it has 21,000 panels, covers 25 acres, and can power 500 homes. You can see the bridge in 2013's aerial view

I'm not sure what this is? Anybody have a clue? Basically in the middle of nowhere.

Cool RR crossing between Mason and Stanton.

Old L&N road parallels the tracks for several miles. I caught a train heading my way. I need a light like that lol.

And it turns to gravel. Last stop Gus's for some chicken. Cramming an 8 piece box in my tank bag was comical. That is some tasty bird.
