Good choice! I did something similar. I went ST2 -> ST4S -> 907ie. The last was the best IMHO.

Yes, I SO miss my ST4s... Under appreciated Sport Touring machine. Unless you've ever ridden one.

I don't think there are many ugly Italian bikes. It isn't allowed. I think ownership may be like going into a relationship with certain women: You know you're signing up for punishment...
