Hopefully the problems with Iceland's finances and the volcanic ash prevented him from exporting it.

That was a prototype motorcycle that never made production. This concept bike was originally conceived at the Hofbräuhaus München, after hours, by the Bavarian design team. Originally drawn up on a napkin, the effort took hold almost immediately with loud enthusiasm, heated debates and slapping of waitress' behinds.

My bet is that the bike was built on an RS/RT frame with either an R90S engine thrown in or by using a later oil cooler R100 engine and simply re-badging it with whatever suited the builders fancy. That would make the horn mounts, the front cross cross brace, the rear disk brake and a couple of other seeming mods, standard equipment.

Whenever I talk to someone about modding an Airhead, I usually stress starting with the latest, strongest frame that they can find and then bracing it even more but this thing has so many modifications, that any one of them hardly makes a difference.

WOW...

I really kinda like that bike! With a little cleaning up it would fit right well between the Hot Rod and the old RS and I really wouldn't mind being seen on it.

I wonder where I could scrounge a front end like that?
