Do you think that the headlight too small for the bike is a look that they are going for, or it looks better in person, or they just used what they had or what?
they must of added them after the photo shoot

way cool!

Here is a link to a ebay auction for a bmw headlight shell:
headlight bucket

The two dimples in the image are for the instruments but if you didn't have a pair of gages, like that WM bike, it would look like it was dropped on its head at birth.

I'm confused, I don't think that the head light is photoshopped, I think it's real head light shell that the WM guys really put on that real bike. I just think that is smaller than a head light shell that I would choose to put on the bike if I had the option of a larger one.

I also think that the tool compartment on the tank is real, not photoshopped. To me it looks like a /6 tank with a custom tool compartment. I could be wrong, and you know what, looking at the picture makes me think, "hay, I could cut a hole in the top of the tank, pound out my current dents from the in side, fabricate a box nice box, weld it in..."

I don't know where you guys have been hanging out where when someone means "photoshopped" when they say "her proportions are wrong"...

...no, you misunderstood, I'm not saying it's faked, it's just a 'shopped photo to enhance and tittlate...

'zample...

posting the WM bike made quite a few reactions, but no one has mentioned my favorite bikes, the Rimto Sereno bikes. any thoughts on his work (in my option the best) on airheads?

to be honest i think its stock, but you guys out there probably have a lot more experience with this. the WM guys normally don't do that kind of fabrication work

You can add a tool box to your tank by doing the same thing that WM did...

Simply buy stock BMW European "Police" tank, spray it flat black, drop it in place and... Viola! ...theres your 'custom' tank!

I read the magazine article about WM with interest and have looked at their bikes on the interweb and while I can see why guys like em, I don't think that they're doing anything particularly original.

Not after watching some of the builds going on around here anyway!
