I don't think I'm going to be disappointed, however when I bought the oilhead I'd done a fair bit of readings and kind of knew what I was in for

I have not had a chance to find the same level of info on this bike.

Any good sources that you can recommend?

What kind of info you looking for?

There is some great info right here. Here are a few places to start for tech info other than this site.

Also try:

Yup found those yesterday (not that they were lost), and I see there are great volumnes of indepth info availalble.

How about high level stuff? The basic owners manual crap (there is no owners manual with this bike and they don't think they can get one - I'll keep looking on ebay)

Not sure about the original owners manual. Mine didn't come with one either. I've never bothered to look for one

I'm just being a nervous nelly - bought the bike Friday, due to the long weekend in CDN land I couldn't pick it up, yesterday in Houston, next 2 days in Hobart, then return to pick-up this friday.

I did manage to stop at Wild West in Katy TX and pick-up a Clymer manual

You really feel much more connected to the bike on the R90, even though it doesn't do anything as well as the GS. yeah...I know what you mean.
